The site expresses the act of remembrance through the refinement of the axes and interior architecture, while incorporating appropriate social modules and homogenous elements such as corridors and columns to respond positively to the heavy emotions of the individual.

作为用于宠物殡仪服务的场所，项目最基本的性质是对宠物离别时刻致以深沉的尊重与奠念。场地通过轴线及内建筑的细化处理将纪念行为进行具象表达，同时融入恰当的社交模块及均质的连廊、柱体等要素，对个体的沉重情绪做出积极回应。

The new layout echoes the interior and exterior landscape through floor-to-ceiling windows, optimizing lighting and changing the lack of space caused by the original building's half-height windows. The mood of the installation is utilized to connect the interaction between the environment and the individual. The window side of the space is equipped with a farewell room and a lounge, and the array of architectural corridors gives the space a unique and dignified atmosphere, making the process of walking as if bidding farewell to a long-distance friend on the platform of a steam train. The spacious floor-to-ceiling windows can evenly carry the light load distributed on the façade, bringing light to the interior and serving as a filter for the transition of different atmospheric spaces. The matrix walls are equally spaced to create a stately spatial atmosphere, and as light intervenes, established shadow states spill out into the beige space and dissipate into the earth as if they were alive at night, conveying this pre-determined mood of the site to the individuals in the space. The space is covered with a large area of textured beige latex paint, paired with mirrored floor-to-ceiling windows and corridors, completing the creation of a solemn ceremonial space atmosphere and light and shadow under subtle control.

新的布局通过落地窗的形式将室内和外界景观相呼应，优化采光的同时改变了原建筑半高窗具所造成的空间缺失感。利用装置的情绪连接环境与个体间的互动关系。靠窗一侧的空间内部设置告别室、休息室，阵列排布的建筑连廊赋予空间特有的庄重气质，行走的过程仿佛是在蒸汽列车站台送别一位远行的朋友。宽敞的落地窗可以均匀承载分配于立面上的采光载荷，为室内带来光明的同时作为不同氛围空间过渡的过滤器。矩阵式墙体以相同的间距营造出庄重的空间气氛，随着光线介入，既定的阴影状态洒落在米色空间内，并在夜晚如生命一样消散在大地之中，将这种预设的场地情绪传达给空间中的个体。空间以充满质感的米色乳胶漆大面积铺色，搭配镜象化的落地窗及连廊，在精妙控制中完成庄严的仪式空间氛围和光影的营造。

Considering the relatively limited lighting of the project as a whole, the main body of the venue adopts beige-based wall-ceiling-floor color block, which enhances the sense of light of the venue and at the same time can better amplify the sensitivity of the venue, further amplifying the spiritual interaction between the owner and the pet. The professionalized venue meets the psychological needs of different groups of people for pet funerals, the venue encourages people to participate in the send-off activities in their own way, and the earth tone color palette chosen for the overall visual identity system suggests the connection between the spirit and the land.

考虑到项目整体采光相对受限，场地主体采用米色为主的墙顶地色块，增强场地光感的同时可以更好地放大场地敏感度，进一步将主人和宠物之间的精神交互关系放大。专业化的场地满足不同人群对于宠物殡仪的心理需求，场地鼓励人们以自己的方式参与到送别活动之中，整体视觉识别系统选用的大地色系调暗示了精神与土地的连接。

In the new layout, the waterproof revolving door plays an important role as a spiritual metaphor, the solemn silence when entering the venue and the relief when leaving are externalized through the revolving form, and the good emotional conversion gives the traditional entrance a new way of value. The air conditioning vents in the space are set in the form of circular holes in the ceiling plane, and the overall squareness and straightness of the site is neutralized by a large number of curved elements embellished with details.

The wall to the left of the entrance is used to hold photos of pets in their pre-life moments, and the area focuses on the symbiotic and dynamic spiritual bond between people and pets, helping individuals to deeply understand the humanistic care behind pet funerals through the form of design.

进门左侧墙体用来承载宠物生前时刻的照片，区域将关注点放在人与宠物之间共生和动态的精神纽带上，通过设计的形式帮助个体深度理解宠物殡仪背后的人文关怀。

Newly installed light fixtures include long, faceted soft film ceiling elements and track lighting to illuminate the area while providing clear guidance for the crowd. The front desk is defined as an area that can be used flexibly and has a sense of remembrance. Beige travertine countertops with the same color paintless cabinets are set behind the countertops, which are used to store archival records and other written materials, and the consistency of the color ensures that the individual's state of mind and emotions are smooth.

新置入的灯组包括较长的面状软膜天花部件与轨道灯，实现照明的同时为人群提供清晰的行走导向。前台被定义为可以灵活使用并具备纪念意义的区域，米色洞石台面后方设置同色免漆板柜体，用来收纳档案记录及其他文字资料，彩度的一致性更好地保证了个体心态与情绪的平稳。

The display area covered by a huge soft film ceiling has a strong sense of ceremony, where pet owners can choose various funeral paraphernalia and souvenirs, and the circular walking path highlights the social atmosphere of the workshop display form, creating more cultural identity by way of observation and experience, thus further downplaying the commercial attributes. At the end of the central axis, four interconnected towering partitions are delineated by means of human intervention, forming a “monument” that transcends reality. As a place full of respect for individual emotions, the exhibition area will support more customization and planning services, and to cater to this commercial activity, the site allows for ample display and open storage to facilitate pet owners' inquiries and purchases. In addition to the tall soft film ceiling light curtains, the venue has also set up floor platforms in the display area to flexibly delineate the properties of the area in a cascading manner.

Utilizing the existing architectural frame structure and the dimensions available in the internal retreat structure, the 4×7 modular open grid is used as the basic form of the façade display, and the area is given a more solemn visual expression through the mirror treatment. The Pet Farewell House does not gain monumentality by its own architectural form or proposition, but rather relies on people's continued spiritual attachment for a degree of constant remembrance. Therefore, instead of using a traditional display of the nature of selling, the venue spreads the space for selling pet products in the form of a workshop in the center of the space, which is like a small activity center, contributing to the community-like interactive attributes unique to the area. The gentle color blocks, together with the light and shadow, convey a visual message of calm and serenity. While the display area is a commercial metaphor, it is more important to have a transmission about culture. A large number of open display modules allow individuals to have a deep contact with the pet funeral culture in the process of experiencing and consuming.

The space integrates the original patterns of circles and rectangles into the space through a large number of human interventions, enriching the visual tension of the façade and symbolizing the original energy transformation and circulation. Here, the building is not just a background or a container, but serves as a spatial guide, guiding the interior space and individuals to generate a dialog and arouse their emotional resonance. Unlike previous solemn ceremonial spaces, the venue emphasizes a calm and reflective atmosphere so that pet owners in mourning can feel inner peace and tranquility in the space. The installations and atmosphere are designed to convey a sense of spirituality, that is, a building for farewell and remembrance in a vibrant, cosmopolitan city.

The venue encourages people to socialize and balance their emotions, while using a variety of mechanisms to make the pet funeral process a soothing experience. The minimalist language of the installation emphasizes the warm texture of the wood used.

A sunken sandpit acts as an organizing axis between the craft workshop and the meditation room, and this formal relationship is reinforced by the massive cylindrical structure that characterizes the meditation room, creating a strong sense of sacredness. The site redefines the boundaries of thought with a monumental inner architectural language, allowing for a guiding force of a religious nature in an ambient space that can help individuals seek inner energetic balance. Inside the entrance of the cylindrical space is a rectangular modular small-scale space with a semi-enclosed architectural architecture that helps to create an acoustically sound and inward-looking site. The straight sunken sand pool also contains the religious metaphor of “one sand, one world”, where the soul passes through the miniaturization of as many worlds as the sands of the Ganges River, and ultimately reaches the oasis at the end of it, where it finds constant spiritual peace.

The heavy interior architecture and emulsion paint surfaces further enhance the auditory, tactile, olfactory and visual boundaries of the individual senses within the meditation room. The raw geometric relationship of the massive spatial scale is reminiscent of the expression of divinity in religious architecture. A series of architectural facilities either directly or indirectly influence the emotional perception of people when they pay homage to their pets. From the viewpoint of the meditation room to the exhibition area, four interconnected towering partitions distinguish the boundaries of different functional areas while creating an uninterrupted view of each other.

Two benches are set up in the side storage room, allowing pet owners to rest physically while gazing at their memories. The open compartments in the storage room are adjusted according to the wall structure to maximize the volume of the storage space, and the large or small structures are not arranged in accordance with the rules, and it is this irregularity that creates a deep narrative and contextual expression. The different sizes and forms of open compartments imply diversity and personal choice, and for multi-pet families, such an arrangement can be planned in advance for future co-location of storage.

侧面的寄存室内分别设置两张长凳，让宠物主人在此凝视追忆时可以获得体力上的休息。寄存室内的开放格根据墙体结构做出调整，最大程度丰富储存的空间体量，或大或小的结构并未按照规则排布，也正是这种不规则的有意为之，产生了一种深层的叙事性和情境表达。不同大小形式的开放格意味着多样性与个人意愿的选择，对于多宠物家庭来说，这样的排布可以为日后合置寄存提前做出相应的规划。

At the corner of the site, a screening room is placed with curatorial thinking. The dimly lit character of the area meets the needs of the screening, and while comforting the pet owners, it will also be an opportunity to convey the pet funeral culture that is gradually gaining attention nowadays. The dark physical space of the screening room is pixelated to show a gradual change from dark to light, which eliminates the dark lighting and sense of closure that is unavoidable in the corner of the building.

在场地拐角处以策展思维置入一间放映室，昏暗的区域特点恰好迎合了放映需求，在慰藉宠物主人的同时，这也将是一个传递时下逐渐被人们关注的宠物殡仪文化的机会。放映室深幽的物理空间通过像素化的处理方式呈现从暗到亮的渐变过程，通过这种方式消解建筑转角难以避免的昏暗采光及闭塞感。

The mirrored installation brings more sensory experience, and the contrast between the virtual and the real symbolizes the energy transformation between life and death, further assisting individuals to complete the closed-loop cognition of the pet funeral industry. A large number of simple blocks reinforce the linear composition of the space façade through their own structure.

镜面装置的设置带来更多纬度的感官体验，虚与实的对比象征了生与死的能量转化，进一步辅助个人完成对宠物殡仪行业的闭环认知。大量简洁的体块通过自身的结构强化空间立面的线面构成。

The storage room as a whole presents a solemn and calm atmosphere, with pet information and urns in the niches on both sides reflecting respect and reverence for life. The fan-shaped background wall at the front end is illuminated by the soft film ceiling above, utilizing ambient lighting to enhance the spiritual attributes of the area.

寄存室整体呈现出肃穆沉静的气质，两侧壁龛中的宠物信息及骨灰盒体现出对于生命的尊重与敬畏。前端的扇形背景墙被上方软膜天花光幕打亮，利用氛围照明的形式增强区域精神属性。
