The project is located in Yuquan Xili, Shijingshan, Beijing. The young couple, who are skiers, wanted the new interior space to accommodate the storage of snow equipment and outdoor gear, and on top of this, the space to be as open and airy as possible. In response to these requirements, the design was optimized through the use of layout and materials, resulting in a minimalist and refined residential content.

The layout of the space has been adjusted in terms of structure and elevation. Instead of deliberately enriching the volume of the entrance hall, only a high cupboard with a high ceiling has been installed at the entrance to provide storage for frequently worn shoes and cleaning tools such as a hoover. The invisible doors weaken the visual noise of the facade system, while floor-to-ceiling bookshelves are perfectly integrated into the space using the recessed corners of the cabinets and walls. The three-dimensional shape is not only powerful for storage, but also does not increase the visual burden of the facade in any way. The doors are finished in the same colour as the interior, weakening the fixed concept of door furniture. The irregular mirror on the side blurs its own presence and invisibly expands the depth of the space.

The living module re-organises the movement lines by deconstructing the spatial relationships to meet functional needs while emphasising social attributes, and the interaction interfaces are no longer just a rigid superimposition. The restraint and simplicity of the layout creates a sense of order in the interior, and the space as a whole is unobstructed in a way that creates a cinematic, mirror-like visual experience.

起居模块通过解构空间关系重新梳理动线，满足功能需求的同时强调社交属性，各个交互界面不再只是生硬的叠加关系。克制而简洁的布置催生出室内自在的秩序感，空间整体以无所阻隔的方式营造出电影般一镜到底的视觉感受。

A cotton linen carpet with a rough gravel texture flexibly divides the dining area from the living area and the overall material blends in with the flooring system. The living room area is designed without mains lighting, with downlights as separate lighting units that can be better focused in pre-determined positions, and with floor lamps from Lumina for an ambient sensation of different light areas.

茶几选择了一块小巧的宝格丽大理石石墩，正面是由圆润线条和皮革元素构成的togo沙发，不同材质、色块、形体的家具有效拉开空间层次感。开敞和通透是洄游动线生成的必要条件，只要处理得当，即使是小户型依然能够获得户外般的自由交互体验。粗糙沙砾质感的棉麻地毯将餐厨区域与客厅区域柔性划分，整体材质也与地面系统浑然一体。客厅区域采用无主灯设计，筒灯作为独立的照明单位可以更好地聚焦在预设位置，搭配来自Lumina的落地灯，带来不同光域的氛围感官。

The Bulgari stone coffee table in Caracata Purple is a wedge in the space, echoing the material of the western kitchen island while finding a balance of colour and texture in the black and white minimalist space. The free furniture module can be used for both living and gathering by scattering. The TV cabinet presents the solidified storage system in a cantilevered design, with a light and thin proportional relationship creating a staggered form of blocks within the space.

卡拉卡塔紫的宝格丽石材茶几在空间中犹如一支楔子，与西厨岛台形成材质呼应的同时，也为黑白色系的极简空间找到彩度与层次肌理的平衡。自由的家具模块无论是起居还是聚会，都可以通过散落的形式进行。电视柜体将固化的储物系统通过悬挑的设计手法呈现出来，轻薄的比例关系形成空间之内错落有致的体块形式。

Based on the owner's cooking and dining habits, the original closed boundaries of the kitchen are opened up, and the LDK-style open modules of the kitchen and dining area not only achieve a composite use of functions, but also strengthen the emotional links between different property areas. Caracatta Purple, a classic Bulgari luxury stone material, is used in a minimalist manner on the island and worktop, presenting a richly textured shade that creates a strong visual contrast with the white walls, black cabinet system and flooring. The relationship between the dining and kitchen spaces is clean and crisp, with the cabinets linked together in the form of a single wall, minimising undulations and keeping them on the same plane. The island, as a functional module of the dining space, can on the one hand effectively complement the kitchen area and at the same time further enrich the storage system of the dining space.

根据业主的烹饪和就餐习惯，打开原本厨房封闭界限，餐厨一体的LDK式开放模块不仅实现了功能的复合利用，也加强了不同属性区域的情感链接。卡拉卡塔紫作为宝格丽奢石经典材质，以极简的姿态应用于岛台和操作台面，呈现质感丰富的色泽，与白墙、黑色柜体系统、地板形成强烈的视觉对比。餐厨空间的块面关系被处理得干净清爽，柜体以片墙的形式连接在一起，最大程度减小起伏后保持在同一平面上。岛台作为餐厨空间的功能模块，一方面可以有效地补充厨房面积，同时也可以进一步丰富餐厨空间的储物系统。

The matte black lacquered high cabinets conceal built-in kitchen appliances and a refrigerator, creating a variety of living scenarios in which the form emerges from the interior structure but is not simply limited by it. The cabinet door system is all concealed or pressed to ensure the overall finish is fresh and smooth, and the strong colour contrast with the minimalist façade shape is like being in an architectural framing composition. The black blocks of different materials in the kitchen area produce a flowing sheen in the daylight, which is understated but not overwhelming, and which accentuates the rich texture of the stone.

哑光黑色烤漆高柜隐藏内置厨房电器和冰箱，创造出多种生活场景，形式从室内结构中产生，而不是简单地受限于结构。柜门系统全部采用暗槽或者按压的方式，确保整体饰面清新流畅，强烈的色彩对比与极简的立面造型，犹如置身于建筑框架构图之中。厨房区域不同材质的黑色块体在日光下产生流动的光泽，低调而不张扬，更衬托出石材的丰富质感。

Taking into account the fact that the owner does not have a heavy cooking habit, the western kitchen island is more in line with the lifestyle of young people, combining with the dining table to form a comprehensive functional area for office reading, western cooking and a backyard drinking bar. The choice of dining chairs draws on classic Bauhaus-influenced styles and the metallic aesthetic of early 20th century industrial design is combined with original wood and stone to give each piece of furniture a different textured surface. The chandelier is a minimalist design in the space, with full lines that are both functional and aesthetically pleasing to the installation.

考虑到业主没有重油烹炒的饮食习惯，西厨岛台更符合青年人的生活方式，结合餐桌形成办公阅读、西式烹饪、后场饮水吧台的综合功能区。餐椅的选择上提取受到包豪斯主义影响的经典款式，20世纪初工业设计的金属美学与原始木材和石材相结合，赋予每件家具不同的纹理质感。吊灯是空间中的极简设计，线条饱满，既实用又美观。
