The west side of the residential building in which La Loma Apartment is located offers unparalleled views that stem from the breathtaking views of the surrounding forest and connection to nature, and at sunset, the setting sun also provides a stunning spatial backdrop to the residential space.

Esrawe Studio reconfigured the layout to optimize orientation, transforming the home into a more open and interconnected design. Original walls and partitions were removed to create a more open living and dining space, with low-profile furniture arranged so as not to block views or prevent prime-time light from entering the apartment. To deal with a column and separate it from the rest of the apartment through a partition, Esrawe Studio wrapped the structural elements in oak and extended the low consoles from both sides - creating a cross shape.

It's a brass and wood fusion console that runs throughout the living area, bringing a touch of sophistication and serving as a focal point. It's like a functional work of art, with shelves displaying books, vinyl records and even a turntable. Storage cabinets of the same height continue along the nearby wall, forming part of a larger area that extends to the ceiling and wraps around the living room.

Warm oak runs through the apartment, integrating the kitchen's central granite bar and providing ample storage for essentials such as a refrigerator, pantry, linen closet and wine cellar. Marble floors and walls add a touch of sophistication to the space, imbuing it with modern and understated elegance.

The seamless integration of doors leading to the living areas creates a visually stunning and tactilely rich ambiance that extends into the master bedroom. The bathroom is a true masterpiece, with its green quartzite floors and walls providing a distinctive stone-like feel, complete with a sculptural Tikal marble washbasin designed by EWE Studio, which was co-founded by Esrawe along with gallerist and curator Age Salajõe and designer Manuel Bañó to promote Mexican craftsmanship.
