While it was a challenge for the design team to maintain the home's historic charm while incorporating contemporary features, Carlyle Designs' solution was to preserve original elements, such as the space's original 18th-century front door and pine floors, and complement them with new additions such as the Bar Gris limestone floors and reclaimed wood beams.

The residence retains its original charm while incorporating modern design elements and luxury furnishings. The goal of this extensive renovation was a harmonious blend of history and modern design, creating a peaceful escape from the world of urban living.
